At CLS, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and are committed to providing reliable, professional service. This warranty applies to labor performed by CLS and is intended to ensure customer confidence while clearly defining the scope of our responsibility. In the event of a suspected workmanship defect, the Customer must provide CLS with prompt written notice of the issue. CLS shall have an exclusive RIGHT TO CURE,  consisting of fourteen (14) business days from the date of receiving written notice to inspect the work and, if a defect is verified, schedule and perform the necessary corrective labor. The Customer agrees not to engage third-party service providers to repair the alleged defect during this cure period without prior written authorization from CLS.

LABOR WARRANTY POLICY

In the event of a suspected workmanship defect, the Customer must provide CLS with prompt written notice of the issue. CLS shall have an exclusive Right to Cure, consisting of fourteen (140 days from the date of receiving written notice to inspect the work and if a defect is verified, schedule and perform the necessary corrective labor. The Customer agrees not to engage third-party service providers to repair the alleged defect during this cure period without prior written authorization from CLS.

Warranty Periods

Third-Party Contract Customers

Labor performed under a third-party contract or service agreement is warranted for 90 days from the date of services, unless a different warranty period is specifically required by the applicable contract.

Non-Contract (Retail) Customers

Labor performed for customers without a third-party contractual agreement is warranted for 60 days from the date of service.

 

 

WHAT IS COVERED

During the applicable warranty period, CLS will at its discretion inspect and correct defects resulting from our workmanship at no additional labor charge if it. is determined that:

 – The issue is directly related to the labor originally performed by CLS.

– The original service has not been altered, modified, or repaired by another party.        

– The warranty claim is reported within the applicable warranty period.

 

       WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This labor warranty does not cover:

– Parts, components, or products unless covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

– Failures caused by normal wear and tear.

– Damages resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, vandalism, theft, or attempted forced entry.

– Damage caused by weather, fire, flooding, power surges, or other events beyond CLS’s control.

– Work that has been modified, adjusted, or repaired by another individual or company after CLS completed the original service.

– Customer-requested changes or additional work beyond the original scope of service.

WARRANTY SERVICE 

To request warranty service, customers should contact CLS as soon as the issue is discovered and provide:

1. Customer Name / Business Name

2. Service Address                                

3. Date service was provided.             

4. Invoice / Work Order Number.        

5. Description of the concern.           

CLS reserves the right to inspect the original work before determining warranty eligibility.

 

 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The warranty is limited solely to the correction of labor performed by CLS. CLS shall not be responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or failure of the repaired item or property, except where prohibited by applicable law.

PARTS WARRANTY POLICY

CLS supplies and installs products and replacement parts from a variety of reputable manufacturers and distributors. CLS is a reseller and installer of these products and does not manufacture the parts or materials used in our services.

 

MANUFACTURER RESPONSIBILITY

Because CLS does not manufacture the products we sell or install:

– CLS does not provide an independent warranty for the design, manufacture, material quality, or workmanship of parts or products supplied by third-party manufacturers.

– Any warranty applicable to a part or product is provided solely by its manufacturer, subject to that manufacturer’s terms, conditions, limitations, and warranty procedures.

 

CLS RESPONSIBILITY 

 

CLS is responsible for the quality of the labor performed during the installation in accordance with the applicable CLS Labor Warranty Policy. If a part is believed to be defective during the manufacturer’s warranty period, CLS may, at its discretion:

– Assist the customer in identifying the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

– Facilitate communications with the manufacturer or supplier when practical.

– Replace or reinstall a part after manufacturer approval, subject to any applicable labor charges if the issue is not covered under the CLS Labor Warranty.

 

EXCLUSIONS

 

CLS is not responsible for:

– Manufacturing defects in parts or products.

– Material failures originating from the manufacturer.

– Product recalls

– Changes in manufacturer specifications or product performance.

– Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, vandalism, accidents, environmental conditions, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or repairs performed by others.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

CLS’s responsibility for parts is limited to supplying products obtained through authorized manufacturers and distributors. Except as required y applicable law, CLS does not assume liability for defects in the manufacturer or materials of third-party products and makes no additional warranties regarding those products beyond any warranty provided by the manufacturer.

 

CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE  

 

Although CLS does not administer manufacturer warranties, we are committed to excellent customer service. When possible, we will assist customers in identifying warranty coverage, obtaining replacement parts, or coordinating with manufacturers or suppliers to help resolve product-related concerns.
